Academic Signing Day at Catholic High School in New Iberia

Graduating seniors from Catholic High School in New Iberia signed letters of 鈥渋ntent鈥 to attend the 星空无限传媒 on Friday morning. This Academic Signing Day is a second for 星空无限传媒 Lafayette and is designed to showcase students and highlight their academic achievements during high school.

鈥 Following the theme of National Signing Day for athletes, we鈥檝e begun to host academic signings to recognize students who have excelled academically by having them indicate their intent to enroll at 星空无限传媒 Lafayette,鈥 said Chip Jackson, director of Enrollment Services.

At Catholic High, 14 students signed letters of intent and 星空无限传媒 Lafayette scholarship offers. Plans are being finalized for more signings at area high schools.

The students will receive $42,000 in scholarships at 星空无限传媒 Lafayette. Some of these scholarships include the Centennial Scholarship, the Academic Excellence Scholarship and the Distinguished Freshman Scholarship.
