This is a routine test of the U L Lafayette Emergency Notification System. This is only a test. If this had been an actual emergency, you would have been informed as to the nature and location of the event and advised of precautions or safety measures.

The Office of First-Year Experience (OFYE) is here to help you begin your journey as a university student.

We have many events designed to introduce you to your new classmates, the campus, and the best our colorful region has to offer.

The goal of our office is to connect first-year students and their families to the necessary resources to provide a strong foundation for success. We help students transition to college by offering academic support (UNIV classes), freshmen programs, and freshmen events that provide an enriching collegiate experience.
